Whether Parties can be added to an action after a Consent Judgement is Issued
The Plaintiff sought to amend a claim to add defendants after a Consent Judgment had been granted. The Court directed that this was not permitted, because once the Judgment was entered the Court was functus officio, and loses jurisdiction to amend pleadings.
