David Allan, Student-at-law

I have always been fascinated by the world around me, driven to learn as much about it as I can. As an articling student, I am here to soak up as much as I can about resolving disputes and to get hands-on, practical experience advocating for clients through each step of the litigation process.
Originally from BC, I grew up in Ladner, and subsequently moved to Victoria where I resided until I moved to Edmonton for law school. I have also been fortunate to experience living in Scotland and Poland, and have travelled to many other European countries. I’m fascinated by other cultures and believe that openness will be an effective asset working with clients from all corners of the world and all walks of life.
My busy life as an articling student is balanced with my passion for fitness, health, nature, and continuous learning. You can find me at the gym most mornings getting ready for the day ahead. I have an undergraduate degree in geography with a concentration in environmental sustainability and minor in history, and my playlist is usually full of podcasts on world affairs, philosophy, and history.
