Faye Garries, Associate
I was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010 and since that time, I have been practicing insurance defence law. My practice includes Provincial Court and Queen’s Bench subrogation claims, personal injury defence, occupiers’ liability, professional negligence and unique special chambers issues. During my articles, I worked closely with senior plaintiff counsel on a wide range of personal injury claims. That experience has helped me gain perspective as defence counsel and translates into quick and reasonable claim resolution. When working on a matter, I strive to identify any challenges and barriers at the outset to create realistic expectations. I believe that effective communication results in client satisfaction with both the handling and outcome of my files.
